Chinese troops have been accused of kidnapping five Indians during a border dispute in Ladakh. The shocking accusation was made by Ninang Ering, an MLA in the Indian Congress and a former Union minister. Ning Ering made the accusation in a tweet on Saturday.

In a tweet, Ninang said that Chinese troops had kidnapped five youths from the Upper Subansiri district of Arunachal Pradesh.

Shocking news: Five people from the Upper Subansiri district of our Arunachal Pradesh state have reportedly been “kidnapped” by the Chinese People’s Liberation Army (PLA).

A few months earlier, a similar incident occurred. An adequate response must be given to #PLA and #CCPChina. @PMOIndia https://t.co/8gRdGsQfId pic.twitter.com/KbDMJ3bUi2

However, the Indian Defense Ministry has denied the kidnapping. Harsh Vardhan Pandey, a spokesman for the Indian Defense Ministry, said there were no reports of kidnapping of youth in Arunachal Pradesh. No complaint was received from the local police station.
