Demanding a judicial investigation into the whole matter, Mufti Waqqas said that if left without trial, chaos would spread throughout the Qaumi arena. On the occasion, a six-point statement was read, demanding a judicial investigation into the events of the last two days of Allama Shah Ahmad Shafi’s life and the student protests at Hathazari Madrasa.
