Chittagong: Amir Allama Shah Ahmad Shafi from Hefazat-e-Islam, who is being treated in the ICU of Chittagong Medical College Hospital (CMC), was sent to Dhaka by air ambulance.

He said Shafi was taken to Chittagong Medical College Hospital (CMC) from Hathazari Madrasa by ambulance at midnight Thursday. Later, he was admitted to the sixth bed of the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) on the third floor of the hospital.
