Janazah de Allama Noor Hossain Qasemi, Secretary General of Hefazat-e-Islam Bangladesh has been completed at the Baitul Mukarram National Mosque. Allama Qasemi’s Janazah took place at 9:20 am on Monday. His youngest son, Jabed Hossain Qasemi, presided over the janaza. A large number of people participated in it.

Hefazat-e-Islam reported yesterday that his janaza will be held at the National Ugah Maidan. Later this morning, the janaza was transferred from there and taken to Baitul Mukarram in the morning. People who came to participate in janaza also went to Baitul Mukarram in groups.

Thousands of people gathered on the National Eidgah to participate in the Nur Hossain Qasemi janaza before 8 am on Monday. Later, when they learned that the janaza would be in Baitul Mukarram, they went to Baitul Mukarram in groups.

People who came to participate in the janaza flocked to Baitul Mukarram and its surroundings. The area on the north and south sides of the mosque was filled with people. Traffic stopped on all four sides of Baitul Mukarram.

Speaking before the janaza, Maulana Junaid Babungari, Ameer from Hifazat-e-Islam, said: “I had a heart-to-heart relationship with Nur Hussain Qasemi. There is no language to express how much I have lost by losing it. We have lost a lot. We have suffered a lot. He has worked for Islam all his life, leading many people to the path of Islam. His death has caused a lot of damage.

Many present burst into tears during Allama Junaid Babungari’s speech.

Babungari said: ‘He didn’t commit to any cancellation, he was on the hook. He did not bow to any threat. We have to be as strong as him. ‘

In addition, Maulana Shafiq Ahmed Qasemi from Deoband, India, the main leader of Hefazat-e-Islam Shah Muhibullah Babungari, the younger brother of Nur Hossain Qasemi Maulana Abdul Quddus and many others spoke before the janaza.

Nur Hossain Qasemi died at the United Hospital in the capital at 1 pm on Sunday. On December 1, Allama Qasemi was admitted to the United Hospital in the capital for a respiratory illness. He was rushed to the ICU on Thursday night after his condition worsened. Although Nur Hossain Kasemi had a cold and shortness of breath, some rounds of the crown were negative.

Nur Hossain Qasemi has been the Dhaka Metropolitan President of the organization since its inception. Following the death of Amir Allama Shah Ahmad Shafi (Rah.) Of the organization, a new committee was formed on November 15. Allama Babungari was elected Amir and Nur Hossain Qasemi was elected secretary general of the committee.

He is simultaneously Secretary General of Hefazat-e-Islam Bangladesh and Jamiat-e-Ulamaye Islam Bangladesh, Senior Vice President of Al-Hayatul Ulaya, Senior Vice President of Befaqul Madarisil Arabia Bangladesh and Shaykhul Hadith and General Director of Jamia Madania Baridhara Dhaka and Jamia Sobhania Mahmud Nagar.

Nur Hossain Qasemi has played a leading role in the Hefazat movement, the Khatme Nabuyat movement, and other movements. In addition, he participated in the management of some 45 madrasas.
