Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has highlighted the need for all preparations of the Armed Forces to safeguard the independence and sovereignty of the country. In this context, he said, “We will make all preparations to protect our independence and sovereignty.”
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina made the remarks while addressing as the main guest at the Presidential Parade concluding the 2018 Bangladesh Navy Alpha course and the 2020 Direct Entry Officer (DEO) Bravo Batch. The Prime Minister joined the Bangladesh Naval Academy in Chittagong via video conference from Ganobhaban and participated in the virtual event.
Sheikh Hasina said: “We are building each of our forces in such a way that we have all kinds of initiatives and training to protect the independence and sovereignty of our country.”
The Prime Minister said: “Our aim is for this independent country to always stand firm in the world court. We will make all preparations to protect our independence and sovereignty.
In his speech, Sheikh Hasina mentioned: “We will continue with this foreign policy of friendship with everyone, not enmity with anyone.” We want peace, not war. ‘
