Dhaka: The government has mandated that grade 13 of the national salary structure be awarded to all assistant teachers in government elementary schools, regardless of their educational qualifications.
With the consent of the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Primary and Mass Education issued an order on Monday (October 12) ordering everyone to improve their grades.
That order said, With the consent of the Finance Department, the salaries of the government primary school assistant teachers were raised from grade 14 (trained) and from grade 15 (not trained) to grade 13. This government decision on the ground is quite commendable .

Those who have been hired under the hiring rules prior to 2019, have been hired in accordance with the educational qualifications prescribed in the hiring rules.
