Nuruddin, who shook the stage in the seventies, or Ali Zaker, the ‘great-uncle’ of television drama in the nineties, has won the hearts of viewers in all its forms.
Furthermore, the drama was staged at the right time in Bangladesh and the practice of watching dramas by buying tickets was done with their own hands, said the drama’s character and Ali Zaker’s longtime colleague Mamunur Rashid.
They met in Swadhin Bangla Betar Kendra. There, Ali used to read Jak’s news and play audio dramas.
Mamunur Rashid heard his voice and asked him to participate in the play.
After independence, in 1972, Ali entered the world of theater through Jaker’s Aranyak Natyadal.
His first work was the tomb of Munir Chowdhury. He became a popular face in the theater overnight due to his impeccable performance as the central ‘leader’. Later he joined the Nagarik Natyadal.
Throughout Nuruldin’s life, the rest of history, including the captain of the Copenic, Ali Jaker has also directed many popular plays.

He worked until his death as administrator of the Museum of the Liberation War to introduce the history of the Liberation War to the new generation.
Mofidul Haque, another administrator of the Museum of the Liberation War, said Ali Jaker was firmly committed to the establishment and expansion of the museum.
“Once upon a time, there were bad times during independence. At that time, we were planning to establish a museum to preserve the memory of the liberation war. The trust was formed in 1995. Jake’s brother played a very important role in creating of the museum. It has dealt with many crises since then. As a result, the Museum of the Liberation War has been transformed into what it is today. “

Ali Jaker suffered from cancer for a long time.
Today, Friday, this renowned cultural personality, pioneer of theater in Bangladesh, passed away with respect and love.
He died in a private hospital in Dhaka around 6.30 in the morning.
Hospital sources said he had been suffering from cancer for several years. His coronavirus was detected two days ago.
The Prime Minister of Bangladesh, including the President, and people from the cultural world have expressed their condolences on the death of this brilliant cultural star.
He was buried at the Banani Cemetery in Dhaka in the afternoon after paying his respects to the Honor Guard and all levels.
However, the audience still remembers Ali Jaker through his powerful performances in various roles.
