According to IQ Air data from Saturday (November 14), the average rate of air pollution in the country on November 11, 12 and 13 and today (November 14) is between 101 and 150 PM2.5, which is in the category of ‘Harmful to Sensitive Groups’. This means that it is harmful to people suffering from pollution or respiratory diseases. Children, the elderly and people with respiratory diseases who are exposed to this level of pollution are advised not to go outside.

According to IQ Air’s forecast from November 15 (Sunday) to November 20, the average rate of air pollution in the country may increase from 151 to 200 PM 2.5, which is an “unhealthy” pollution category. This level of contamination can make anyone sick. People with respiratory diseases in particular can get very sick. Everyone, including the elderly, children and people with respiratory illnesses, is advised to refrain from leaving the house.

Highlighting the country’s air quality forecast at 12 noon today, Ikea Air said that the average amount of air pollution in Dhaka at the moment is 116 PM2.5, which is in the category of ‘No healthy for sensitive groups’.
