Maulana Muhammad Mamunul Haque, Deputy Secretary General of Hifazat-e-Islam Bangladesh, was invited to perform at Jamia Deenia Asadul Uloom Ramdha Madrasa’s annual waz mahfil in Beanibazar, Sylhet. However, the shura has decided to exclude it from the waz mahfil to be held on December 25.

The meeting was attended by Madrasa Muhtamim Maulana Yusuf Ahmad Khadimani, Shaykhul Hadis Aulia Hossain, President of Alinagar Union Parishad, Mamunur Rashid Mamun, heroic freedom fighter Harun Helal Chowdhury, UP member and General Secretary of the Awami League Union , Moniruzzaman Monir, among others.
According to Shura sources in the Majlis of Jamia Deenia Asadul Uloom Ramdha Madrasa, it was recently decided to make Maulana Aminul Islam Kasimi the main guest, excluding Mamunul Haque, a popular speaker throughout the country. Apart from Mamunul Haque, other guests remain unchanged in the mahfil.
The Awami League Union General Secretary Moniruzzaman Monir said: ‘I am a member of the shura madrasa. Muminul Haque will not come to our madrasa.
Muhtamim Yusuf Ahmad Khadimani from the madrasa said: “Your consent to this meeting was taken two years ago, but now the situation is different.”
Alinagar Union Parishad President Mamunur Rashid Mamun said: “Everyone has agreed that Mamunul Haque did not attend the meeting.”
The officer in charge of the Beanibazar (OC) Hillol Roy Police Station said that he had been informed that Mamunul Haque would not be attending Jamia Deenia Asadul Uloom Ramdha Madrasa’s waz mahfil.
