The Dhaka-Sylhet and Dhaka-Chittagong railways have been closed since 4:30 pm as everything, including the station’s signal panel, caught fire. The Brahmanbaria train station is the one that has suffered the most in their attack.

Soheb Ahmed, station chief of the Brahmanbaria train station, told Prothom Alo that the madrasa students had burned everything at the station. Due to this, the train service stopped from 4.30pm. Train movement normalized around 12:30 pm.
