Next year’s SSC and HSC exams are lagging behind: Due to the coronavirus epidemic, it will not be possible to take next year’s SSC and HSC exams on time, the education minister said. He said: “A short syllabus has been prepared for those who are scheduled to sit for the SSC and HSC exams next year, which can be completed in three months. Because of this, the SSC and HSC exams can take a month or two.
According to the curriculum, the SSC exams started from February 1 and the HSC exams from April 1 for several years. If those days are holidays, these exams start the next day.
Responding to a question from reporters, the minister said: “The results of this year’s HSC examination will be published based on the results of JSC and SSC.” However, since the SSC exam is more important, it is planned to publish the results based on the scores of 75% of this result and 25% of the JSC results. The HSC results will be released in December.
Educational institutions do not open suddenly: If the coronavirus outbreak does not decrease, it will not be possible to open educational institutions, said the Minister of Education. “The coronavirus outbreak appears to be increasing recently,” he said.
