The phenomenon of setting foot in movies based on familiar sources is nothing new.
However, there is a conflict over which movie Junaid will begin his Bollywood journey. Although the news has been published in various Indian media, the names of the film and the director’s information are similar.
Anandabazar reported that Junaid will make his debut under the Yash Raj Films banner. Siddharth Malhotra, the famous director of ‘Hitchhiker’ will take the helm of this biopic from Gujarati writer and social reformer Korsandas Muljir.
Meanwhile, The Indian Express is reporting that Aamir’s eldest son will star in a Hindi remake of the Malayalam film ‘Ishq’. Shani Nigam and An Shital will be seen as co-artists. Niraj Pandey is in charge of directing this film.
Despite the discrepancies in the information, multiple media have confirmed that Junaid is going to set foot in Bollywood. However, no information about Aamir Khan’s family has been released.
But there is no doubt that Junaid has done well in naming his father.
He has been involved in plays for a long time to improve his acting skills.
According to the Times of India, Junaid Khan made his acting debut in 2016 in a play based on ‘Mother Courage and Her Children’ by German playwright Bertolt Brecht and directed by playwright Kuasar Tagore Padamsi.
Junaid, an alumnus of the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in Los Angeles, has also starred in “A Farming Story,” “A Few Good Men,” “Media,” and “Sister of Connection.”
Now it looks like he’s ready to set foot in Bollywood.
