The deposed Hefazat leaders agreed to return to the previous committee, forgetting the arrogance of the newly announced committee reform and the politics of Allama Shafi. The hasty decision of some leaders does not want to break the united platform of Qaumi Alems at this time.
On the other hand, the leaders of the present commission said that the deposed were not expelled at once. They say that those who were not included in the committee have received yellow cards and warnings.
Also, a full committee with 31 members will be announced soon in the current Hefazat central committee.
The leaders of both sides of Hifazat said this in a private conversation with Jugantar about the internal disputes and the future course of action.
Maulana Moinuddin Ruhi, deputy general secretary of the newly dissolved committee, told Jugantar on Wednesday night that Hefazat-e-Islam is not an organization centered on the party or the individual, but a united platform of Qaumi Alems and Muslims in the country. . We don’t want a custody violation.
If the current committee leaders go back to Allama Shafi’s principles and ideals and correct his mistakes, then we will have no difficulty working together.
“We have no dispute with them,” he added. We are the same madrasa teacher and student. We are proud of them. But if they perpetuate arrogance, we may have a political decision to make.
In that regard, next Saturday a meeting will be held in Dhaka with his Alem-Ulama followers and Hefazat leaders, he said.
In fact, a new committee headed by Allama Junaid Babungari was announced at a conference at the Hathazari Madrasa in Chittagong on November 15.
Of the 151 members, 120 were nominated that day. The new committee will add the remaining 31 people later. Many founding leaders, including the former committee’s publicity secretary and Allama Shafi’s son, Maulana Anas Madani, did not get a seat on the committee.
It is known that they were not invited to the conference. Among them are former committee Naib Ameer Maulana Abdul Quddus, Deputy Secretary General Mufti Faizullah, Maulana Moinuddin Ruhi, Maulana Salimullah and the Secretary General of the Dhaka Metropolitan Committee, Abul Hasnat Amini. None of them were seen at the conference venue.
Maulana Ashraf Ali Nizampuri, the newly elected deputy secretary of the current committee and senior muhaddis from Hathazari Madrasa, said the deposed people were not expelled but were shown yellow cards.
He thinks that the marginalized have been left out of their actions. This does not mean that they have been permanently removed from custody.
Although Moinuddin Ruhi claimed that these statements were fabricated, he said that Amir Allama Shafi, the founder of Hefazat, had been tortured and his room vandalized. In the name of the student movement, several Hathazari Madrasa scholars have been beaten.
In addition, a committee has been formed in the current Hefazat committee with ghee, Hajj and land traders. Those who ignore Hefazat and have never participated in the Hefazat movement-struggle.
Nasir Uddin Munir, deputy general secretary of the new committee, said a full committee would be announced soon, adding the remaining 31 members to the current 151-member central committee.
When asked if Kabenagad would be added, he said that a full central committee would soon be formed with the remaining members before the formation of new committees at the district and upazila levels across the country.
When asked who would be given priority to add the remaining 31, he said it was not yet time to comment on the matter, adding that it would be reported later.
Amir Shah Ahmad Shafi of Hifazat-e-Islam died on September 17 last month. From then on, tension began in the organization with the election of Amir.
Before the formation of the Central Committee, Mohammad Moinuddin and Mufti Faizullah, followers of Allama Shafiputra, held separate press conferences in Dhaka and Chittagong and raised questions about the Hifazat-e-Islam delegates conference.
Following the announcement by the organization’s central committee, the dispute between the two Hefazat groups became public.
