ISPR said in a press release on Monday that of the six people killed, two were serving military personnel and the remaining four were retired members in their seventies. Each of them suffered from “incurable physical complications.”
So far, six people have returned home fully recovered, according to the press release, adding that others admitted to the hospital are also “healthy.”

According to ISPR, three RT-PCR laboratories at the Armed Forces Institute of Pathology (AFIP) and 10 RT-PCR laboratories at CMH in other cantonments have coronavirus testing for “authorized” members of the Bangladesh Armed Forces and their families.
So far, 3,194 samples have been tested at AFIP under its own management. In addition, all MHCs have adequate stocks of PPE, masks, gloves and other medical equipment, including essential drugs, according to the press release.
ISPR says it plans to ensure the presence of full-time trained physicians at CMH.
According to the Department of Health, coronavirus infection has been detected in 15,791 people in Bangladesh so far. Among the victims, 239 died.
