Dhaka: After a long vacancy, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will appoint a new minister of state in the Ministry of Religious Affairs. There are also rumors that some more ministries could be reorganized.

According to a source from the Awami League, Faridul Haque Khan is more likely to assume responsibility for the ministry of religion. The ministry was vacated after the death of the Minister of State for Religion, Sheikh Mohammad Abdullah. The Minister of State for Religion, Sheikh Abdullah, died on June 13 after contracting the corona virus. That day, at home, he suddenly fell ill. He was transferred to the CMH Hospital in the capital at night. He suffered a heart attack a second time after being taken there. He died shortly after. Later in the crown test his result was positive. After more than 5 months, the ministry is getting a minister.
