Seven religious and like-minded political parties and organizations have taken initiatives to form a new alliance called “Jatiya Samhati Mancha”. The potential convenor of the alliance is Maulana AKM Ashraful Haque, Executive Chairman of the Bangladesh Nezame Islam Party (part). Ashraful Haque said a political decision was made at a meeting held in a restaurant in the capital on Thursday (December 24) afternoon.
Ashraful Haque told the Bengali Tribune that the initiative was announced at an exchange meeting held at a restaurant in the capital on Thursday. The official announcement and activities of the alliance will begin soon. The presidents or general secretaries of the Bangladesh People’s Party, Pan Islamic Movement, Bangladesh Islamic Democratic Party, Bishwa Muslim Parishad, Jatiya Ulama-Mashayekh Parishad and the Ideal Party of Bangladesh along with the Nezame Islam Party were present at the meeting.
Maulana AKM Ashraful Haque said: “Initially, we have united seven parties, but any honest, competent and patriotic party can join this new alliance. The proposed name of the alliance is Foro Nacional de Solidaridad. Your official journey will start soon with a full-scale meeting.
