Tensions are high on the Indochina border. In such a scenario, the defense ministers of India and China are likely to hold a meeting in Moscow on Ladakh. A source in the Indian Defense Ministry said on Friday that the two sides had expressed interest in holding talks.

Tensions remain high in Ladakh. On Friday, Indian Army Chief Manoj Mukund Narwan spoke with a troop of Chinese troops in Pangong with whom Chinese troops had clashed. The army chief said the decision to deploy more troops along the Royal Line of Control was made in view of the provocative situation. However, he also stated that India wants a peaceful solution.

Indian Defense Minister Rajnath Singh is on a three-day visit to Moscow to attend the annual conference of the Moscow-Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO). He had a lengthy meeting with the Russian defense minister on Thursday. It is known that there was an argument between them about the arms trade. The issue of Pakistan was also raised at the meeting. Sources said Rajnath had asked Russia not to sell weapons to Pakistan. It is known that the Chinese defense minister may have a meeting with Rajnath in Moscow. Ladakh will be discussed there.

According to experts, the talks between the ministers of the two countries in Moscow will be important. However, they do not believe that any solution is now found. His idea is that there will be a crisis until winter. Because neither China nor India is willing to accept the other party’s proposal. If the proposal is accepted, they will have to leave their own land in the Pangong and Gogra areas and withdraw. Neither party seems to agree.

Note that the Ladakh border has recently overheated. On August 29 and 31, the two sides met again. For the past five days, meetings between Indian and Chinese commander-level army officers have been taking place in Chusule. But so far no solution has been found. Neither party agrees to withdraw.
