Like the rest of the world, Bangladesh is now under siege due to Corona Cope. The country is in jeopardy with the overall economy, including people’s livelihoods, expat income, goods exports, and trade. Many fear that the situation will become more fragile. Private sector leaders, businessmen and senior executives are pleased that the government has taken several steps, including the announcement of large-scale incentive packages, to overcome that crisis. They believe that to reduce the impact of the crown, emphasis should be placed on people’s livelihoods, small businesses, the SME sector, and the productivity of agriculture and industry. His hope is that in a few months, trade and commerce will return to normal and the economy will recover.

We are lost One day at a time, our losses are increasing. Exports, agriculture, services: all sectors have stagnated. Bangladesh, along with the rest of the world, is now blocked due to a coronavirus.
Regarding the export sector, one after another the export orders of foreign buyers are canceled. This means that in the long run, they will reduce the purchase of clothes. It is feared that at least it will be cut in half. Not only clothing, but also jute and jute products and leather and leather products are affected.
Meanwhile, remittances are one of the sources of foreign exchange earnings in our economy. Even in this situation, workers are forced to return from the Middle East. As I can see from the newspapers, Bangladesh workers in Qatar do not get any food.
Domestic trade is also in jeopardy now. What I hear from experts is that famine will kill more people than the crown.
Our government has wisely taken several steps from the beginning. Businesses have arranged low-interest loans to get you back to the right place. The poor and extremely poor are going through daily staples. However, there are some bugs in the distribution system.
The question is, how long will the blockade last? Our Prime Minister, Sheikh Hasina, did well with the decision of a partial closure. Because, the entire closure could not be carried out by the United States, nor Pakistan. And if this situation lasts two or three months, it is difficult to predict where the danger will end. Since we haven’t called Kovid-19, we have no choice but to wait. So shall we sit down? No The health sector is important here. Public hospitals cannot be administered alone, Kovid treatment must be extended to private hospitals. For this they have to receive benefits.
However, Kovid’s teaching suggests that the government should pay more attention to the health sector. The entire health sector must be rationalized. From what I have heard, the amount allocated in this sector is not spent again again. But be very careful with the food. There should be good storage in government warehouses. There is no alternative to the rule of law. And if we talk about the banking sector, 20 to 25 percent of loans in default. From this, the decision to suspend interest for two months will reduce the bank’s income by Tk 14,000 crore. It is important to increase vigilance so that defaulted loans do not increase. The best policy in this regard may be the “suppress the wicked, cultivate decency” policy.
