Jabed Hossain Bhuiyan, secretary general of the Juba Union League of Bandar Upazila Madanpur, stored the stolen rice from Chandpur on a ship in the port of Narayanganj. The Juba League leader has covered his body since the incident leaked.

On the night of April 29, the upazila administration recovered 1,200 bags of rice from the bottom of a clothing factory in the Keodhala area in the Madanpur area of the port.
It was learned that on the morning of April 26, a shipment of 2,100 bags of rice belonging to local merchants disappeared from the Ghat River in Puran Bazar, Chandpur’s main business area. A case has also been registered in this regard.
Meanwhile, on the night of April 29, Shukla Sarkar, an officer of Upazila Nirbahi, raided the base of the Haider Knit Composite in the Keodhala area of Mandpur on the basis of secret information.

Bandar Upazila Nirbahi (UN) officer Shukla Sarkar said: “We assaulted the demolition after obtaining information through secret sources.” In total, 1,200 bags of rice were recovered. The rice has been confiscated and the down has been sealed since no valid paper has been produced against the rice broth.
When news of the rice rescue in Narayanganj spread to the media, the stolen rice traders in Chandpur contacted the police. Later they arrived at the port of Narayanganj with documents to verify.
After verification and selection, the stolen Chandpur rice has been confirmed to have been recovered here.
Ishtiaq Ashraf Russell, the inspector in charge of the Dhamgarh police post in the port of Narayanganj, said the rice matched the information about the shipment of stolen rice in Chandpur. The stolen rice was recovered in Narayanganj. As there is a case in Chandpur in this incident, it has not yet been decided if there will be a new case.
The officer in charge (OC) of the Narayanganj Port Police Station, Rafiqul Islam, said the rice was stolen from Chandpur and stored here. After retrieving the rice from the slump on April 29, the Chandpur police contacted us and the police found a match between the stolen rice shipment information and the rice recovered in Madanpur. The Juba League leader has been on the run since the incident. Attempts are being made to arrest him.
He added that there are not two cases in one case. As there is a case in Chandpur, there will be no case here. The Chandpur police will take the rice through the court and take it from here. The leader of the Juba League will be charged in the Chandpur case.
