The World Health Organization (WHO) has wasted no time dealing with the coronavirus, says Tedros Adanom Gabriasis, the agency’s head. He said at a press conference on Friday that the rest of the world, except China, had enough time to stop the epidemic.

The President of the United States, Donald Trump, has been very critical of the Chinese government and the WHO for the coronavirus epidemic. It recently announced the closure of WHO funds, ignoring the severity of the virus and accusing it of getting too close to China.

At a press conference Friday in the face of criticism from US President Donald Trump, Tedros indirectly blamed the failure of world leaders as the cause of the Corona epidemic. He recalled that the rest of the world, except China, had enough time to deal with Corona.

When the World Health Organization declared Corona an epidemic on January 30, only 62 corona were identified outside of China, and none of them died. Rejecting accusations of ignoring the severity of the virus at a press conference on Friday, Tedros added that the World Health Organization had visited China to monitor the situation before the epidemic was declared.
