The appointment of 574 doctors to other departments, including the Ministry of Family Welfare, was recommended. Law, has rejected the recommendations of the Public Service Commission (PSC). According to the list, it will be added to the list of two thousand doctors. The decision was made at a special PSC meeting.
The decision was made after Prothom Alo released an online report yesterday. PSC sources said they read the report and took it into account.
The decision to recruit 2,000 doctors from the non-39th Cornavirus Special BCS category created one type of complication. In February, the Ministry of Family Welfare recommended that 535 outsiders be recruited from among 2,000 doctors.
One of the 535 people recommended by the non-cadres to the Ministry of Family Welfare told Prothom Alo that they were on the waiting list at the beginning. From there, the PSC recommended the recruitment of 574 non-cadres as of February this year. The Ministry of Family Welfare has issued a notice to appoint 535 of them as medical officers. Today, the Ministry of Family Welfare has issued a notice to begin the recruitment process for this list.
“We learned that the government is recruiting 2,000 doctors who do not belong to the 39th BCS cadre and the waiting list,” said one doctor. According to the merit list, the first 574 people from the 39th BCS have been recommended as non-cadres in other ministries and departments, including family planning. As at that time there was no position outside the table in the Ministry of Health, we were recommended to another department according to the list of merits. The police check, bulletin or recruitment process has not yet started. Therefore, if there are vacancies in the Ministry of Health, those in the first position obtain the highest priority according to the list of merits of the non-cadres.
Given that the Ministry of Health has more prominence as BCS than doctors and is currently recommended as a non-member of the table when creating positions in this sector, we believe that we are the first applicants to be recommended. Therefore, a total of 2,000 people can be recommended based on our list of merits. Since we were at the top of the list of merits and our first objective is to work as a doctor in the Ministry of Health, our claim is very logical.
Those doctors said that if we are recommended in family planning even from the beginning of the list of merits, but if we are recommended as non-cadres in the Ministry of Health, even from behind the list of merits, then we will be private and we will be unfairly treated. According to these doctors, 2,000 doctors can be named among them and, if necessary, new recommendations can be made from the following list for the well-being of the family. No one will be deprived of it.
