All ministry offices open Sunday – Dainik Amader Shomoy

After 31 days, since Sunday, all the country’s departments are being opened, including Dhaka and the agencies and departments of less than 17 government ministries at the district and upazila levels. Work in these offices will be limited.

Despite the general holiday announced by the government until May 5 due to the coronavirus situation, the government has decided to open the offices of 16 ministries on a limited basis.

The ministries that will open on Sunday are the Prime Minister’s Office, the Cabinet Division, the Ministry of Agriculture, the Ministry of Commerce, the Ministry of Food, the Ministry of Public Administration, the Department of Health Services, the Department of Education of Health and Family Welfare, the Department of Public Security, the Department of Security and Services, the Ministry of Information and the Local Government. , Department of Rural Development and Cooperatives, Ministry of Disaster Management and Relief, Ministry of Transportation Au, the Ministry of Social Welfare, Women and Children and the Ministry of Fisheries and panisampada.

Meanwhile, a notification from the Prime Minister’s Office said the Prime Minister’s Office will be open according to official hours on April 26. The Director General of the Prime Minister’s Office, the Project Director, the Director, the Deputy Director, the Assistant Director, and officials from all wings will be present in the office regularly.

However, the CEO and Wing Heads will review and determine the daily attendance of support staff from their respective Wings. It is also recommended that the support staff working in the wing or branch be no more than 25 percent.

It is worth mentioning that the general government license issued since March 25 has been extended at various points. Last Thursday, the Ministry of Public Administration issued an order declaring a general holiday across the country from April 26 to May 5.
