The number of patients infected with the corona virus is increasing day by day in the country. The government’s Institute of Epidemiology, Disease Control and Research (IEDCR) has already identified Narayanganj as the riskiest district in the country after Dhaka.
Although most of the world’s doctors have played a leading role in the fight against the coronavirus, in some places doctors’ apathy has been noted. Several doctors have already died while seeking treatment in many parts of Bangladesh.
However, a teenager came to Facebook Live and said different things about the work of the doctors and nurses at Kurmitola General Hospital. Meanwhile, that teenage emotional video has gone viral.
An emotional video of a child with a crown died without treatment at Kurmitola General Hospital. He appeared live twice on Facebook and highlighted the beginning and end of the incident. Where the extreme cruelty of the nurses, staff and ansars of the Kurmitola Hospital has come to light.
The young man said in a video message in the Deobhog Akhra area of Narayanganj: “My father’s crown was positive. He died at the Kurmitola Hospital in Dhaka on April 19 at 8 am. I can give you some ideas about the Corona treatment. Everyone may think that the disease is being treated well in our country. But I will tell you the truth about what happened to us, my father.
He said, “If there are any symptoms of the father’s crown, it must be examined.” I got to know about being positive on April 16. The next day I took him to the Khanpur hospital. Because he knew that Corona was being treated at Khanpur Hospital. After being taken there, I came to know that the treatment is far from seeing the patient properly. And if Corona is positive, she suggests taking Kurmitola.
We immediately hired an ambulance and went to Kurmitola. When it comes to admission, people there ask us if there is any document or evidence that their father is not positive. I said yes. Is any document or message said to have been delivered? The victim was then informed by phone. But they are not willing to admit me according to my words.
You need paper or message. I contacted from where they informed me. Meanwhile, the father’s condition is still very bad. I continue to apply for admission. Even the sick father pleaded with great difficulty. This does not melt their minds. When the message came, he agreed to admit his father around 3:30 p.m. M.
After that, he said of other shames: “I went from one floor to another with great difficulty and arranged a bed for my father.” It was completely dirty. There were no sheets or pillows. Even then I went down to my father. But he let me out because he wouldn’t let me have more than one with the patient. I left my mother and went downstairs. The mother went to the nurses and talked about oxygen, since her father had difficulty breathing. Then they said they would see the patient first and then give him oxygen if he felt he needed it.
After a while, someone came and observed the father’s physical condition. Give oxygen after looking. It makes you feel a little better. Meanwhile, when the father began to have difficulty breathing again, the mother asked for oxygen again. The nurses and children treated the mother very badly. I sit in the waiting place outside. At night one of the Ansar saw me and said, “Why are you sitting here?” I can’t sit here. I said I have a patient upstairs, so I’m sitting. Then he said, even if he is sick, he cannot sit here. You sit under a tree on that side of the road. I work all night sitting under a tree on the street.
Meanwhile, they did not give oxygen even after the mother repeatedly told them about her father’s difficulty breathing. After saying many times bring an oxygen cylinder. However, my mother noticed that the cylinder was empty. Even after planting it, my father was not doing any work. We haven’t seen any doctors in the hospital from the beginning. There was only the nurse. They also go and sit in their waiting room. If there is no one with the patient, the patient will not be able to say anything and will die there. Because nurses do not appear in front of the patient. After spending the whole night outside, I hid in the hospital at dawn and went to see my father. After a while, he began to have severe shortness of breath.
At this time I think it is necessary to keep him in ICU or ventilation. I went to the nurses’ waiting room. The Ansars stopped me there. The nurse called him and told him to leave. After half an hour, the nurse did not come, and the father’s condition began to worsen. On the other hand, I beg you, my father’s condition is very bad. Please take some action. I’m going to catch up. That didn’t work either. In a moment, the father’s breathing stopped. So a nurse comes to see the father. When I discovered that my father was no longer alive, I asked him about his condition. Then he said you can see for yourself what the situation is, so why are you asking me again? The first thing I told you was to take my father to the ICU. So why didn’t you take any action? Then they tell me that our ICU is not empty. How can I take your father if he is not empty?
