The number of identified Kovid-19 patients in the world has already exceeded 13 crore 3 lakh, the number of deaths has exceeded 27 lakh 39 thousand.
Bangladesh ranks 34th in the world in terms of the Johns Hopkins University list and 40th in terms of death toll.
According to the Department of Health, 24,548 samples have been analyzed in 226 laboratories throughout the country in the last 24 hours. So far 48 lakh 52 thousand 71 samples have been tested.
Taking into account the sample test in 24 hours, the detection rate is 23.15 percent, so far the total detection rate is 13.28 percent. The recovery rate is 8.23 percent and the mortality rate is 1.47 percent.
So far, 35 lakh 6 thousand 7 samples have been tested under government management. And 11 lakh 64,575 have been under private management.
Of those killed on the last day, 38 were men and 20 were women. They all died in the hospital.
Of these, 34 were over 60 years old, 18 were between 51 and 60 years old, 4 were between 41 and 50 years old and 4 were between 31 and 40 years old.
Among the dead were 39 from the Dhaka Division, 12 from the Chittagong Division, 3 from the Khulna Division, 2 from the Barisal Division and 1 from each of the Rangpur and Mymensingh Divisions.
Of the 9,213 people killed so far in the country, 6,925 are men and 2,026 are women.
5,157 of them were over 60 years old. In addition, 2,265 people between 51 and 60 years old, 1,038 people between 41 and 50 years old, 459 people between 31 and 40 years old, 180 people between 21 and 30 years old, 6 people between 11 and 20 and 36 people were less than 10 years old.
Of these, 5,026 were residents of the Dhaka division, 1,064 were residents of the Chittagong division, 506 were residents of the Rajshahi division, 592 were residents of the Khulna division, 26 were residents of the Barisal division, 326 were residents of Sylhet division, 36 were residents of Rangpur division and 202 were residents of Mymensingh division.
