BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir has said that the current Awami government is taking revenge on the people using indiscriminate attacks and taking lives to silence the voices of people protesting against the usurpation of state power and horrible misgovernment. The government has unsettled and unstable the entire country with its reckless decision to kill people by getting lost in the protests. The government has to take full responsibility for this.
Mirza Fakhrul said this in a statement on Sunday. The statement, signed by Emran Saleh Prince, the party organization secretary in charge of the office, said that the continued assassinations of the fascist government, arrests of BNP leader Nipun Roy Chowdhury and many others, government shootings to quell the national movement , shooting and injuring dozens of people, including Pir Abdul Hamid of Madhupur. – I strongly condemn and protest against the oppression. In the past two days, law enforcement and the Chhatra-Juba League have carried out massacres in different parts of the country, including Dhaka, Chittagong and Brahmanbaria. Even today (yesterday) people have been shot dead in Brahmanbaria. Law enforcement officers and ruling party terrorists have also targeted Juba Dal, Swachchasebak Dal and Chhatra Dal protests against this atrocity and cruelty.
Mirza Fakhrul said that instead of defusing the situation, the government ordered the firing of law enforcement officials. At the same time, weapons have been handed over to the ruling party thugs. The ruling party has gone mad from spilling blood by shooting at people’s chests without working for public health safety during the Crown period. But just as the brave masses of this country have thrown away all the dictatorships of the past, they have also taken to the streets to overthrow the current dictatorial government through intense mass movements. In the tide of movement, the mass of the illegitimate government will sink to the bottom. The statement demanded the unconditional release of the detainees. At the same time, they wished a speedy recovery to the leaders and activists wounded in the police and terrorist attacks.
