The climate change crisis is important to both countries. We want to work together with Bangladesh to address the threat of climate change. I am sure that the friendly relations between the two countries will be further strengthened. The Maldives has always valued friendly relations with the people of Bangladesh. Bangladesh is one of the countries sending foreign workers to the Maldives. Your contribution to the socioeconomic development of our country is important.

Previously, Maldivian President Bangabandhu was in Dhaka on Wednesday morning on an Emirates Airlines flight to attend the centenary of his birth and the golden anniversary of independence.
