The AstraZeneca vaccine is safe: Canada

Canada states that the Oxford-AstraZeneca coronavirus vaccine is safe and effective. The country made the lawsuit on Thursday following the suspension of vaccination programs in several countries over reports of blood clots as a side effect of the vaccine. The British news agency Reuters reported this information.

Several countries around the world have suspended vaccination programs for fear of blood clots in the body after receiving the Covid-19 vaccine made by AstraZeneca. Most of these countries are European. Although the European Union regulatory body says the AstraZeneca vaccine is safe, it is not necessary to suspend the vaccination program.

Last week, Canada received 500,000 doses of the Oxford-Astragene vaccine from the Serum Institute of India. They may receive another 1.5 million vaccinations by May. The Canadian Department of Health said in a statement Thursday that it was “aware” of the side effects of the coronavirus vaccine. So far, there have been no adverse reactions to this vaccine. “We want to assure Canadians that the benefits of this vaccine far outweigh the risks,” the statement said.

AstraZeneca claimed Thursday that extensive testing had been done on the safety of its vaccines in the human body. These tests have shown that the vaccine adapts well to the human body.
