Since the news of his death was received, people from all walks of life in South Surma, Fenchuganj and Balaganj have flocked to Samad Chowdhury’s ‘Farzana-Mahmud Villa’. The body of Samad Chowdhury Koyes will be taken to his home in Fenchuganj by helicopter at 11am on Friday. Funeral prayers will be held on the grounds of Fenchuganj Kashim Ali High School on Friday at 5pm.
After his death, the body of Mahmud Us Samad Chowdhury Koyes was taken to hospital. The body was subsequently kept in the cold room of the Combined Military Hospital in Dhaka (CMH). From there it will take you directly to Fenchuganj.
Citing Mahmud Us Samad Chowdhury’s personal assistant Julhas Ahmed, Surma Sur Press Club President Jahangir Alam Musik said he was admitted to the hospital last Sunday night. He gave samples for the corona test on Monday morning. In the afternoon the results are positive. MPK was kept on ventilation at Dhaka Hospital due to deteriorating physical condition.
Mahmud Us Samad Chowdhury MP was ill for some time. Last Sunday, he was taken to the hospital because he was feeling unwell on the plane on the way to Dhaka.
Earlier, on February 10, the MP took the vaccine at the Jatiya Sangsad Bhaban facility. So there were no side effects. A few days ago, he also spoke as a main guest at various events in South Surma, Balaganj and Fenchuganj in his constituency.
Samad Chowdhury was 65 years old at the time of his death. He is survived by his wife and adopted son. The Sylhet-3 constituency consists of South Surma, Fenchuganj and Balaganj. Awami League candidate Mahmud Us Samad Chowdhury has won a hat-trick in the last three national elections.
