Mamata Banerjee has declared candidates for 291 of the assembly’s 294 constituencies. Of these, the star candidates have been awarded in 14 seats. According to political analysts, the Trinamool Congress is trying to reach out to the people by holding hands with star candidates at these centers.

In announcing the party’s full list of candidates, Mamata Banerjee said that her party had run 50-seat candidates. In addition, the Muslim candidates have yielded 42 seats. Trinamool will not fight for three seats in North Bengal. These three seats will be given to the allies of the alliance.

Mamata said that this time he is contesting from Nandigram. Expressing hope for the formation of a government for the third time, Mamata said that this election is a fight for the survival of Bengal.
