Cartoonist Ahmed Kabir Kishore, who was arrested in a case under the Digital Security Act, has been released from jail after about 10 months. The higher court composed of Judge M Enayetur Rahim and Judge Mohammad Mostafizur Rahman granted the teenager bail on Wednesday after rejecting his request for bail on several occasions.
On May 7 of last year, RAB-3 filed a case under the Digital Security Act against the Ramna police station, naming 11 people and charging five or six unidentified people. The defendants, including the teenagers, were accused of tarnishing the reputation of the state and propaganda.
