Writer Ahsan Kabir said the teenager had problems with his ears, legs and eyes.

The Superior Court on Wednesday granted the teenager bail for six months, paving the way for his release. He was released from Kashimpur Central Jail 2 on Thursday afternoon.

Ahsan, who got his brother out of jail, told bdnews24.com late at night that he had taken the teenager straight to the hospital.

“The teenager was admitted to a private hospital around 8:15 am. Ear problems in adolescents; left foot and eye problems have occurred. These were not before. He also has diabetes.”

Ahsan commented that the teenager should now go with the doctor’s advice.

“We spoke with the lawyer before he was taken to the hospital. There are hospital admissions on the advice of doctors to reduce the complications of various diseases.

At the time of the teenager’s release, some of his family and friends were waiting outside the prison. After exiting through the jail door, they left in a white car at around 12:30 pm with the teenager. Journalists outside the jail did not see the teenager at the time.

Ten months after the release of the teenage cartoonist

In the wake of the coronavirus crisis, the RAB arrested teenage cartoonist Mushtaq Ahmed on May 5 last year.

The following day, a case was filed against them at the Ramna Police Station under the Digital Security Act for “spreading anti-government rumors and propaganda.”

Although the two detainees in the same case were granted bail, Kishore and Mushtaq were not granted bail. Mushtaq died in Kashimpur High Security Prison on February 25, sparking protests across the country.

Mushtaq was also granted bail in High Court along with the teenager. But he died before the hearing.
