The Minister of Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs, Anisul Haque, has expressed his deep sorrow over the death of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina’s political adviser, Hossain Tawfiq Imam (HT Imam).

HT Imam, the country’s first cabinet secretary, was 72 years old. After the formation of the Awami League government in 2009, he served as an advisor to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. At first he acted as a public administration advisor. Later he was appointed political adviser to the prime minister.
