The difference in the comparative image of men and women was observed at Mugda Medical College Hospital. Around 11 a.m. today, a crowd of 105 was seen waiting in front of the three-story Corona Vaccination Center. There are more men than women. Here 1,171 people have been vaccinated against the corona throughout the day.
According to the Mugda Hospital authorities, 400 women and 600 men were vaccinated against the corona in the hospital from 8.30 am to 2.30 pm. In the early days of vaccination activities, people were under pressure for a few days, but it has increased day by day. However, the number of vaccinated women is much lower than that of men. Asim Kumar Nath, director of the hospital, told Prothom Alo that the pressure on people has increased so much that the quota for the corona vaccine at the hospital has been exhausted. Subsequently, the tick quota was increased by request from the Department of Health.
The Corona vaccine is being administered in the large hospitals in Dhaka, as well as in urban birthing centers. Around one hundred corona vaccines are administered daily at Nagar Matrisadana in the Tilpapara area of Khilgaon. When visiting the center around 9 am, it was seen that there were hundreds of people in front of the center. They are being vaccinated after verifying the serial number.
All are being monitored for half an hour after the last vaccination. Yesterday, 181 people were vaccinated against the coronavirus in this center. Of these, 6 were women and the rest were men.
