Lots of people make movies. Sometimes I see something in the media that is not really desirable. People do things about movies that aren’t really worth saying. The cinema of our country is being taken to such a low place, what more can I say. I don’t say that anymore. Because if you spit it out, it falls on your body first. It’s a shame for me. But I am proud when some people dream of a good movie. ‘
The signing ceremony for the film ‘Leader: I am Bangladesh’ was held at the Bengal Multimedia Studio in Tejgaon, Dhaka on Thursday evening. Dhaliwood superstar Shakib Khan had this to say at the signing ceremony.
Superstar Shakib said: ‘If we look at neighboring countries, we can see that small industries are now making movies for the whole world. They are making movies beyond Bollywood. Malala’s film industry is making movies for Rs 300 crore. And the cinema of my country is now down to 10 lakhs 20 lakhs. Think? Many say that many artists have not eaten. I employ a lot of people. I will tell him: who are you to give work? Stupid! I don’t need a hundred and five hundred movies. I need a movie. A good picture is that the amount of adjustment it can bring to the industry is unimaginable.
According to Shakib, ‘I think’ Leader: I am Bangladesh ‘is a social awards film. I think this image will wake up and make everyone think. Every person who sees the picture will say: yes, I am the leader, I am Bangladesh.
