Concerned people said that Maulana Muhammad Mamunul Haque will be present as a keynote guest at the 43rd annual Jamia Islamia Hafizia Darul Quran Maishapur Madrasa Islamic Conference in upazila on Saturday.
A meeting was held in Maishapur village after Friday prayers at the joint initiative of the police administration with the organizers. During the meeting, OC Sheikh Nazim Uddin discussed the general problems with the madrassa authorities on behalf of the police administration.
The madrasa authorities sat in a separate discussion meeting in the madrasa hall on the general topic. The madrasa authorities have completed all preparations for Mamunul Haque’s arrival there. Madrasa authorities have formed a volunteer force of about 200 youths to resist those who obstructed the conference.
In this regard, Muhtamim Hafiz Maulana Abdus Samad of the Madrasa told Jugantar that a volunteer force of more than 200 young people has been formed to make the Islamic Conference a success. All preparations for the conference have been completed. Preparations are being made to get permission from the administration after arguing with the police station CO after Friday prayers. He’s hoping to get approval from the local administration tonight.
OC Sheikh Nazim Uddin police said they were looking to prevent Mamunul Haque from attending the mahfil madrasa. However, if Mamunul Haque comes without permission, he will be legally prevented.
