The teacher recruitment test will start in elementary schools after the opening of the educational institution. Alamgir Muhammad Mansurul Alam, director general of the Department of Primary Education (DPE), said that all preparations are in the final stage.

The general director said: “It was not possible to start the recruitment test due to the situation in Corona and the closure of educational institutions. Even in this situation, we have advanced the technical work related to the recruitment. The software development work has already been completed. An agreement has also been signed with the Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET) regarding the exam.
The Elementary Education Department was scheduled to take the exam in January or February after the application process on November 24.
Meanwhile, job applicants have expressed doubts about the primary epidemic recruitment test due to the ongoing epidemic and a court petition requesting the cancellation of 20% of the pet quota in hiring teachers from primary.
In this regard, the Director General of DPE said: ‘Educational institutions are closed. Even then the department does not stand still. We are working in preparation to organize the great sacrifice as a recruitment test. The arrangements are almost complete. The date of the recruitment test will be announced as soon as the government opens the educational institution.
When asked about the case, he said: “There was no case regarding the appointment. So there is no obstacle in organizing the trial. However, there has been news in one media about the case or the brief. The department is working on this.
This time the government will appoint 32,000 teachers as primary school teachers. Of which 25,630 will be hired at the preschool level. More than 13 lakh 5 thousand applications were received for this appointment.
