Amit Shah’s state visit canceled after Israeli embassy explosion

An explosion occurred on the sidewalk in front of the Israeli embassy in Delhi around 5pm on Friday. The explosion damaged several windows and three cars. The bomb squad and forensic team rushed to the scene shortly after the incident. Samples of the scene have already been collected. The forensic team said it was a small explosion. However, it can only be determined whether an IED was used after examining the sample. According to sources, Amit Shah himself has been in contact with National Security Advisor Ajit Doval, IB Head and Delhi Police Commissioner since the night after the blast. The meeting took place in stages. Later that night, it was decided to cancel the visit of the Union Minister of the Interior to Bengal for security reasons. The news has already been relayed to state leaders of the BJP from Delhi.
