Devi Sethi will decide to place a stent in Sourav’s heart

The Chairman of the Cricket Control Board in India (BCCI) Sourav Ganguly feels chest pain again after returning home from the hospital a few days ago. He was rushed to Apollo Gleneagres Hospital in Kolkata on Wednesday.

Devi Sethi, a renowned cardiologist from the subcontinent, is coming to see you today. The doctor will decide if a stent will be placed in Sourav’s heart.

According to the Indian media Anandabazar, Devi Sethi will land in Calcutta with the team by plane around 11pm on Thursday night. He will then sit in a meeting with members of the medical board set up to treat Sourav. At that meeting, it will be decided whether a stent will be placed in Sourav’s heart or treated in some other way.

Sourav is in treatment at Apollo Hospital under the care of cardiac surgeon Aftab Khan.

According to hospital sources, Sourav has already undergone an echocardiogram and an ECG. An angiogram and blood test will be performed on Thursday. After receiving the report, the medical board will decide when the stent will be placed.

However, hospital sources said Saurabh’s current condition is not that serious.

Saurabh had soup on Wednesday afternoon. Sleep well.

Aftab Khan, a prominent Sourav Ganguly physician, said a decision about his treatment would be made after examining the BCCI president’s physical examination. However, nothing serious happened to him.
