Driver Abdul Hakim, 24, was killed when his truck collided with a tree in heavy fog in Sarail, Brahmanbaria. The accident took place in the Suryakandi area of ​​Sarail upazila on the Sarail-Nasirnagar-Lakhai regional highway in Brahmanbaria around 8:30 pm on Monday. The deceased was identified as Hakim, son of Manu Miah from Maind village under Brahmanbaria Sadar upazila.

According to police and local sources, Hakim was returning to Sarail Upazila Sadar from Nasirnagar in an empty pickup truck. At the time he had a teenager with him. The driver of the van collided with a tree on the side of the road in the Suryakandi area of ​​Sarail upazila on the regional highway. Hakim was seriously injured. He was rescued by the locals and the police and taken to the Sadar District Hospital, where the doctor on duty declared him dead. His colleague was slightly injured.

Sarail (SI) Police Deputy Inspector Zakir Hossain Khandaker confirmed the news. He said that at first light, the accident occurred due to heavy fog. The body has been handed over to the family as there is no complaint about it.
