Ritesh Chakma from the new district has been sent to Kashimpur Central Jail Part-1. Previously, he was in charge of the Magura District Jail. Gias Uddin, the current superintendent of high security prisons in Kashimpur, will serve as the superintendent of Kashimpur-1 as an additional responsibility.
Kashimpur Central Jail-1 Ratna Roy Jail Chief Superintendent and Nur Mohammad Mridha District were removed on Sunday morning (January 24) on charges of organizing Tushar Ahmed, the general manager involved in the Hallmark scandal, as an accomplice. So far, five people have withdrawn in connection with the incident. They have been attached to the Department of Prisons.

In one of the scandals in the country’s financial sector, the brothers of Hallmark Managing Director Tanvir Mahmud and Hallmark CEO Tushar Ahmed have been accused of organizing the company of women in the rooms of the officials of the jail. On Thursday, an investigative committee was formed headed by Additional Inspector General of Prisons Abrar Hossain, Under Secretary (Security Division) Abu Saeed Mollah and DIG (Mymensingh Division) Jahangir Kabir.
In addition, the Gazipur district administration formed another investigative committee on January 12 in the same incident. A three-member committee was formed headed by Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADM) Abul Kalam and comprised of Gazipur Executive Justices Umme Habiba Farzana and Wasiuzzaman Chowdhury.

According to CC footage from the jail, Hallmark (GM) General Manager Tushar Ahmed, who was involved in the loan scandal, was seen walking comfortably in a black shirt at the jail entrance on January 8. Shortly after their arrival, a woman wearing a purple salwar kameez entered from outside. The incident took place in the presence of Ratma Roy, chief superintendent of the prison, and Saqlain, deputy district magistrate. Their cooperation was also seen in the CCTV footage. At 12:55 pm, the woman entered the officers’ room with two young men. There he was received by the deputy of the Saqlain district.
After the woman entered, Saqlain from the deputy district left the office. After about 10 minutes, the captive snow was brought there. They then stayed in a room for 45 minutes.
