Dhaka: On Thursday (January 21), the last business day of the week, the country’s main stock exchange, the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) and the other stock exchange of the Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) are listed with the index on the rise.

At 11 am, an hour after the start of trading on Thursday, DSE’s general DSEX index rose 14 points to 5,841 points. The DSE Shariah index increased by 2 points and the DSE-30 index by 6 points to 1292 and 2213 points respectively. During this period, 345 crore 14 lakh shares and units of mutual funds were traded.

Of the companies traded on Thursday, 153 were up, 105 were down and 70 were unchanged.

Robi, Beximco Limited, Citibank, GBB Power, BD Finance, Summit Power, Baraka Power, Beximco Pharma, Agrani Insurance and Larfazholsim are the top 10 companies in the transaction as of 11am Thursday.

Earlier today, the DSE index rose 14 points in 10 minutes. Then, at 10:20 the index increased by 6 points from the previous position. Then the speed of the index can be seen downward. At 10:45 a.m., the index rose 5 points to 5,627 points.

On the other hand, an hour after the start of trading at 11 pm, the CASPI index of the Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) rose 53 points to 16,040 points. Then the speed of the indicator can be seen upwards.

Shares and mutual fund units worth Tk 14.42 crore were traded on the CSE until 11 pm on the day. During this time, the prices of 63 companies have increased and the prices of 40 companies have decreased. The share prices of 33 companies were unchanged.
