The department’s meteorologist, Bazlur Rashid, said Tuesday evening (January 19) that sunlight would not be able to enter directly as there were clouds in the sky, so daytime temperatures across the country could drop slightly and nighttime temperatures could rise to a maximum of 3 degrees. There can be light rains in many parts of the country during these two days. The clouds will be removed by the rain and the daytime temperature will rise again from Friday and the nighttime temperature will begin to drop. So the cold snap can start again in some areas.
