The body was recovered from an apartment on the second floor of building No. 692, Road No. 21, Block G, Bashundhara Residential Area on Tuesday morning, the Bhatara OC Md police station said. Moktaruzzaman reported.

Naz, 21, lived alone in the apartment, the CO said, adding that Naz’s father, Monirul Islam, arrived in Dhaka from his village house in Khulna at noon. The night before, he had spoken to Naz on the phone about family matters.
His father has been unable to reach Naz since 11 p.m. Monday. He later called the National Emergency Service ‘999’.
OC Moktaruzzaman said: “I went to the house and found the door locked from the inside. Later, the door was smashed and Naz’s body was recovered. “
He said Naz’s body was released to his family after an autopsy at the Shaheed Suhrawardy Medical College morgue.
“We just realized that Naz had committed suicide. However, there is a CCTV camera in the apartment where he lived. We will bring CCTV footage and investigate, ”said the police officer.
An unnatural death case has been filed at the Bhatara Police Station in this incident.
