The victim filed a case against Imran Hossain Rony (21) at Siddhirganj Police Station under the Prevention of Abuse of Women and Children Act at 11 a.m. Police arrested the defendant Ronnie shortly after the case was closed.

According to police sources, the victim was identified as Ronnie, who was traveling in the car at different times. For the past two months, the defendant Ronnie had been proposing love to the victim. Ronnie called the girl and raped her in a rented house in the Mizmiji Paschimpara area of Siddhirganj at 4.30pm on Saturday.
In this regard, the inspector (investigation) of the Siddhirganj Police Station, Sharif Ahmed, confirmed the matter and said that the accused had been arrested in the rape incident. The victim has been sent to Narayanganj Victoria Hospital for a medical examination.
