BNP candidate boycotted the vote in Kuliyarchar alleging various irregularities

The Kuliyarchar Municipality is voting in the EVM process. There were two candidates for the position of mayor. Syed Hasan Sarwar competes for the symbol of the ship. He is the vice president of the Upazila Awami League. Upazila BNP secretary Nurul Millat was the candidate for the position.

Meanwhile, a long line of votes was seen in the center of Kuliyarchar Pilot High School at 9.30am. More than 300 women waited in line to vote. The line of males was also quite long. The total number of votes in the center is 2,400. 44 people are known to have voted so far at booth number 4 at 10:45. There are 390 voters in that booth.

Chief Petty Officer Fakhru Uddin Akand said that although the voting was a bit slow, the interest of the voters was very hopeful.
