Late Thursday night, the schoolgirl’s father filed a case with the Kalabagan Police Station under the Prevention of Abuse of Women and Children Act. Dihan was the only defendant in the case. On January 6, Dihan made a confessional statement in court. He was later sent to Dhaka Central Jail.
