Earlier Tuesday, leaders and activists from the university branch of the Chhatra League held a sit-in at the vice chancellor’s residence with various demands. At the same time, 72 employees who worked in different positions in the main role of the rector’s residence have also carried out a sit-down program demanding job security. Later, Vice Chancellor Abul Qasim met with a 15-member delegation from the Chhatra League around 10 pm.

Morshedul Alam and Riyad Khan, members of the BCL delegation, said the rector had fruitful discussions with them. The vice chancellor said class exams will begin soon. The pending recruitment test will be held on January 22, issuing the card on January 14. However, they do not understand the reason why the rector dropped out of the university.
