In a few weeks, India will be able to make a decision on the export of the corona virus vaccine, Foreign Minister S Jayashankar said.

The vaccination program in India is scheduled to start from January 18 with priority for healthcare and frontline workers. Health Minister Harsh Vardhan said 300 million people would be vaccinated in the first phase.
Last week, Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro wrote to Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi to speed up shipments of Oxford-AstraZeneca vaccines produced at the Serum Institute. Meanwhile, Bangladesh has expressed hope to receive the vaccine on January 25.
