India’s three most controversial agricultural laws have been suspended. The country’s Supreme Court granted the suspension on Tuesday. The high court also ordered the formation of a committee to examine the current farm law.
According to the report, a committee has been created to resolve the agricultural law issue in discussions between the central government and the farmers’ union.
The Chief Justice said the three agricultural laws were suspended without further instructions.
In order to quell the ongoing movement in the country on this farm bill, the government of the country went to talks with farmers’ unions about eight times. However, there was no surah. Meanwhile, the court verdict came.
The country’s Supreme Court said: “We did everything possible to solve this problem and we had the power to repeal this farm law.”
The Chief Justice also said that it is a matter of life and death. We are concerned with the law. We are trying to solve this problem.
Thousands of farmers took to the streets of Delhi to demand the repeal of the country’s controversial agricultural law. Hundreds of Indian law enforcement officers were deployed to stop the movement. With this, the situation in Delhi becomes tense.
