He further said: ‘The leaders of the Noakhali Awami League and the Feni Awami League have sent weapons against me. Companiganj’s Awami League is not with me. Municipality Awami League is not with me. DC, SP, the election official are not with me.
At that moment he said to the crowd: ‘Will you stay with me?’
Quader Mirza said: ‘I am telling the truth. I will tell you the truth. None of them are with me. Those who come here for me, come to face me. ‘
According to him, the people of Basurhat are afraid of Obaidul Quader. They are afraid of Ekram Chowdhury and Nizam Hazari.
